Ugh wow I can’t believe it’s November already. I think november cam exceptionally fast this year, probs because of school and such, and I totally can’t believe it’s nearly my birthday. Am having a lazy day. Ah, I’d definitely go out if I could but all the people (well, most) I know are in camp. Sob sob. So that leaves me with nothing much to do at home. Though I guess I should enjoy it while it lasts because I’d probably not get the chance to do this again. Must enjoy.

Anyway, due to boredom, was looking back at July two years ago (blog posts because I don’t own a time machine, sadly, and not that I ever want to physically go back to July 2009 because it was torture) and yeah, July was a pretty bad time for me two years ago. Midyears, exams, failing EVERYTHING, getting sick, and missing my friends. Bleaughhhh, hated that period. Arh, still hated going to school in JC in general, I still remember it as a really bad two years. Though, admittedly, I do miss the school. Now all my juniors are complaining and I really do feel for them.

On the bright side, in 2 years time they’ll be happy, have absolutely nothing to do and will be sort of excited to start Uni. The girls that is.

Oh man, I still can’t believe I’m already going to university. When we were young going to university wasn’t even included in my ‘dreams of the future’ and now we’re staring it in the face. But it’s supposedly gonna be good, I’ve friends who’ve enjoyed it and my parents still happily talk about their NUS life as if they’ve only just graduated (mind you, they’ve not been in it for like 20 odd years) so I’m not gonna expect anything, just praying it’ll be good. And that I’ll have good friends, in addition to the lovely bunch I’ve met already in camp. Am very thankful for them. Hahah the Honey~~boobs~~stars <3

Oh, and I finally watched The Social Network yesterday. It was interesting, though it was slightly over dramatic in some ways, of course, given that the story itself isn’t very dramatic or thrilling. Still, not bad, the cast did a pretty good job hah but I think the cast is more interesting off screen than the movie itself. And I like Andrew Garfield :)

Off to think up something to do. And I wanna go cycling but there’s no one to go with me! Boo!

Universal Studios Singapore is pretty awesome. Yeah, I must commend if cos it really kept us occupied most of the day, I mean like, we were there when it opened and left just as it closed and we really weren’t at all bored the whole day.

But the best part was deffo the Battlestar Galactica Ride ohmygoodness the rollercosters were freaking amazing and crazily fun! Especially Cylon. We took it like three times and could’ve done way more. Hated the first drop, which is crazy scary btw, but after that it’s super shiok, even in the first row. Actually I think the first row is THE BEST OMG. Haha, I can still picture the ride in my head, even though it was like last week.

And we had a gigantic pizza, mygoodness, have never seen a pizza so big.

And then there were fireworks <3

Random thought: I still love the fact that TK people always correct TKG girls when they refer to their school as ‘TK’. And that we’re not called ‘TKSS’.

I honestly love them so much. NUS Sports camp was like epic freaking fun.

One thing about NUS, everyone’s super smart, excluding me of course. Especially the sports camp people, all sporty, cool, fit, good looking, awesome and brainy. It’s nearly perfection. Yah, I just admire them all hah!

Because I realise I never fully understood some of the classic Disney movies when I was young and I want to embrace the full essence of awesomeness in the classics. Movies like the Lion King and Bambi and stuff, cos I find that the way I understood the plot, the dialogue and the music then is super different from how I would if I watch it now. Of course emotional memories will always remain but I want new insights on my childhood movies. Also, somehow the music from the movies I watched when I was young sorta affected me a lot and to listen to the songs and/or even the soundtrack of the movie really reminds me of my childhood.

Yeah, had a deep deep deep emotional connection to Disney movies when I was young.

And not only Disney, also movies like The Land Before Time and We’re Back. Yeah had something with dinosaurs. Tried watching We’re Back the other day and it I felt some strange emotional connection with the movie. Even though I understand the plot so much better now it was somehow like I still remember how I tried to understand it last time, like all the feeling/emotions I had towards certain parts of the movie. It was…strange but nostalgic. Still LOVE the movies. Wow, I was one deep and emotional toddler.

Anyways, who would say no to watching Disney movies all day long?

Kindergarten kids are just incredible. It’s been so long since I’ve been properly around kids aged 3-6 (since, it’s been ages since Andrew was that age, or so it seems) and I’ve somewhat forgotten what and how they operate and interact. So now every time we teach them it kinda blows my mind because they’re constantly way way above my expectations. Today my K2s cleared out the entire beach and filled 2 trash bags full all under ten minutes. Way more that what some sec 2s did in an hour. And they’re pretty smart too, these lil 6 year-olds could identify a Sea Hare. God bless these little ones.

I have officially finished 4 seasons of Chuck.

The season finale was just, WAH SO INTENSE. A tad abrupt but very eventful. And most definitely a cliff hanger. OMG how am I going to last 2 months till the next season. Super super good thing the show got renewed or I’d be pretty dissatisfied with the show ending like that. They did a pretty good job at the supposed ‘wrapped up but not quite the end’ finale. Spoiler, but I’m a tiny bit disappointed that Morgan got the intersect instead. I really really want Chuck to have it back, again, because that’s what makes him Chuck. But ‘freelance’ spying sounds pretty interesting.

Though, my favourite season is still half of season 2 and season 3. It was still more intense.

Oh, man I love Chuck and I love how the characters have developed so so so much throughout the 4 seasons. And Chuck and Sarah are definitely have one of the best chemistry around. And I love Chuck so much <3

So gorgeous.

Man, I feel like watching it all again. Can’t get enough of Chuck. Can’t wait for season 5.

And I just realised how boring the next few months is gonna be. No football, no TV shows to watch.

SAW AND ‘MET’ MCFLY AT THE AIRPORT OH MY GOODNESS.

Got to the airport, ate with the sister. Had pretty good ban mian (as always) and gobbled it down and dirtied my shirt, yeah trust me to do that hah. Then we rushed to the t3 sky train and took the sky train to t2. got there, the flight hadn’t landed yet so went to the toilet. Got back, met the others (very lovely to finally meet Xin hua/@foldedmemos!!) and waited. That’s the intro.

We waited at the sky train, cos we figured they’ll DEFINITELY have to take the sky train to t3 since their next flight is there and we’d get to see them unless they pull a ‘Justin Bieber’ and get some secret passage or something. So we waited, they landed and we got like really really excited. I couldn’t breathe at one point hahaha, heart beating too fast. Kept looking out for ang mohs and cute guys hahahha. Actually found a few.

People must’ve thought we were weird!

then Xin Hua was like “OMG I SEE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” and I was like “OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG”. Then Tom and Danny (with Tommy their tour manager) walked towards the skytrain platform and I totally forgot how to breathe and/or talk. It nearly looked like they were walking out of my dream or something. We start waving like mad and first they smiled and waved nervously but then I guess they figured who we were – fans. They came closer and I didn’t stop waving, waved for like 5 minutes straight haha. At one point we were so excited we were bouncing up and down and Danny did the same <3 Tried to take photos, hands were too shaky.

then Tom took a photo (he took pretty long to take the photo hah!) and tweeted immediately and we were like “ahhhhheeeeee!”

I look like some mad woman, tut tut.

Asked about Harry and Dougie, Danny said they were having a smoke. I actually read his lips for that. (then I went ‘tut tut’ and Danny did the same. Haha, so cute) Then tried chatting through the glass and across the skytrain track. Quite fun since we couldn’t hear them vice versa. So it was 4 of us and Tom and Danny silently gesturing through the glass, a pretty funny situation. Danny didn’t talk much, guess he was tired, but Tom was the one trying to converse with us. Our ‘conversations’: Tom asked if we were flying off (with them?) and it was so cute when he did like the action of a plane and stuff. Tom told us to jump across the track hahahahha. I asked him if it was hot (as in sweaty hot), he said it was REALLY HOT –pouts-, haha. Congratulated him on his engagement, he was like “aw thanks –grin-". We asked if they were coming here he said they want to come here and perform (and I said “HURRY!”). I kinda forgot what else we talked/gestured about cos half the time I was just staring at them and grinning. It’s so amazing how they were talking to us as if we all were just friends or something.

Then Harry and Dougie came and we just waved madly again, and they smiled and waved back. Dougie looked pretty tired, Harry came to stick his face on the glass, hehe. Goodness, they’re all so much more gorgeous in real life.

And the people in there with them were like ‘eh who are these people? Are they famous or something cos there’re 4 crazy girls waving at them’. So funny.

THEN, we got onto the skytrain (Tom/Danny, I forgot who haha, was like “Let’s go!”) and we had the front car while they were in the back car. We stood at the back window and They saw us and came to stand in the front. Only Tom did for most of the ride though and it was hard to see them cos of reflections and glare. Tom pretended to drive the train, cute! He also told us that he left his engagement ring at home.

We were totally giggling and flipping out in the train hah, hope we didn’t disturb anyone (we didn’t scream at all so that was good).

We got off at T3 and ran/walked/skipped to the glass panel ahead. They got off the train, actually looked for us and we waved crazily again and they waved back…again. So much waving aha! Harry and Dougie walked and waved, Tom and Danny came to us and WE GOT A HI-FIVE FROM BOTH OF THEM, separated by only a glass panel. I WAS JUST LIKE ‘OMG THEY’RE SO CLOSE’. Then they said “BYE!” and we realised that we could hear them so we shouted/yelled back over the glass. “HAVE A GOOD TRIP!!!!” “THANKS!” Then they smiled, walked and waved, Tom made a heart with his hands (<3 <3 <3) and we waved more.

Then I made a heart too AND HE TURNED BACK AND WAVED AT ME. OH I LOVE HIM.

Then we left.

They look amazing in person. Tom has very nice, lush and light brown hair, lighter than I expected, and they’re all not super tall though Tom’s taller than I thought (as tall as Harry) and Danny’s shorter than I thought haha. They have very nice shoes.

Oh my goodness they’re really nice and funny guys and I really love them so much. Hope they’ll come back very soon and remember us.

Now listening to McFly songs will be special because I’ve seen the persons that all the beautiful music comes from <3

Really, BBQ dinner is pretty awesome.

And BBQ dinner not equals to BBQ. Our typical BBQ is usually done as a large group/class thing as a fundamental bonding activity where we take ages to light the fire, snatch food and usually don’t get to eat much. BBQ dinner, however, is having barbecued food for dinner, which is awesome.

Yesterday we had amazing rib-eye steak and chicken wings. Today we had chicken fillet and smoked cheese sausages. TOTALLY amazing and I’ve never tasted better corn.

Oh and S’MORES.

Anyway, tomorrow there’s interschools and I’m pretty excited (even though I’m not even sailing haha) Ah, nothing beats the excitement/nervousness before a race. Can’t wait to see the juniors, can’t believe we’ve graduated already.

Of all the documents that got submitted DIRECTLY to the school, why oh why did NUS have to lose mine. It’s crazily stressful because people have already been accepted and yet they don’t even have my supporting documents and it’s like super important for me because it’s the only university I applied to. It’s just super scary.

What if it jeopardises the chances I have of getting in? What if I don’t get in? It’ll be like totally FML.

It’s really really really hard not to worry about it.

Lord, please help me.
